EFFECTIVE 2026
What this notice covers.
This notice describes the information practices of the website at centurypc.com, operated by Century Legal Advisors, P.C., a California professional corporation. It does not describe the firm’s information practices with respect to clients; those obligations are governed by the California Rules of Professional Conduct and by each engagement letter.
Information the website collects.
The website collects only what is necessary to respond to inquiries and to keep the site secure. When you submit the contact form, the firm receives the name, email address, telephone number, and matter description you choose to provide. When you call or email directly, the firm receives whatever you choose to disclose through those channels.
The website uses first-party performance analytics provided by its hosting platform. These analytics record aggregated page views, referrers, device class, and a hashed session identifier. They do not set tracking cookies, do not store IP addresses beyond a short-lived rate-limiting buffer, and do not share data with third parties.
What the website does not do.
The website does not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, advertising trackers, or any third-party fingerprinting tool. It does not sell personal information. It does not run targeted advertising. It does not embed third-party social-media widgets. Cookies are limited to those strictly necessary for the site to function; no consent banner is displayed because no consent-required cookies are set.
Confidential intake submissions.
Information you submit through the confidential-intake form is transmitted over TLS, stored encrypted at rest, and accessible only to the firm. Until an engagement letter is signed, no attorney–client relationship is formed, and you should not transmit privileged or sensitive matter detail through the public form. A subsequent encrypted client-portal channel is made available once an engagement is established.
Your rights under California law.
California residents have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), to know what personal information the firm has collected, to request its deletion, and to correct inaccurate information. The firm responds to verifiable requests within the statutory window. Requests may be sent to aelmok@centurypc.com.
Retention.
Inquiry records that do not result in an engagement are retained only for the period required to evaluate the matter and to comply with the firm’s conflict-of-interest obligations, then deleted. Records that become part of an engagement file are retained in accordance with the California Rules of Professional Conduct and the firm’s file-retention policy.
Changes.
The firm may update this notice as the site evolves. Material changes will be reflected by an updated effective date. The current version of this notice is always available at centurypc.com/privacy.
